The Independent National Electoral Commission have yesterday, in a series of tweets on its Twitter handle confirmed the date for the National Assembly and Presidential elections as February 16, 2019
The electoral body made the announcement on Thursday, adding that the gubernatorial and state assembly elections and the Federal Capital will hold on March 2, 2019.
Chairman of the commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, also made the disclosure at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja.
