Question of the day: What would you do left alone at a train station?

Here's the question and please answer sincerely. You're on holiday in a foreign country (by yourself) and you miss the last train (midnight) that would have taken you back to your hotel. You're left with only two options; 1. Sleep by yourself at the train station (with no one else around) till daybreak or 2; lodge at the only hotel around the train station...unfortunately its a five-star hotel and the cheapest room there is $2,000 (N320k a night). Bear in mind that you're a regular salary earner...you don't even earn up to N300k a month...but the train station is notorious for violent attacks and is close to a dangerous hood. Which option would you take?

Jim Iyke deliverance at Synagogue Church Of All Nations went viral online, Jim Iyke took to twitter to deliver his message.

A few hours after his deliverance at Synagogue Church Of All Nations went viral online, Jim Iyke took to twitter to deliver his message this morning.
Making a surprise appearance in The SCOAN, Nollywood superstar Jim Iyke entered quietly and unannounced, joining worshippers from around the world as they listened to the inspiring message from renowned Prophet T.B. Joshua.

As The SCOAN’s Wise Men moved through the congregation in prayer, the lightning of God located Iyke and he was no longer able to control himself. Lunging towards one of the Wise Man as if to attack him, an evil spirit that had been tormenting the life of Jim Iyke manifested! The congregation in the auditorium and the overflow congregations shouted in surprise as they began to witness the deliverance of a man they were all too familiar with.

Jim Iyke, born James Ikechukwu Esomugha, is currently one of the highest paid actors in the Nigerian movie industry and cultivated the name “Nollywood bad boy” for himself. As one of the most successful actors in Nollywood, he has starred in over 150 films to date. He has launched his own film production unit, “Untamed Productions” and his own music label, “Untamed Records” with his very own album, “Who Am I?” He is also founder of “Jim Iyke Foundation”, contributing funds to children of the less privileged and children with physical challenges.

Among his movie awards are: The Teenage Choice Award, Best Actor In Nigerian Entertainment Award, African Achievement Award, Best Actor of the Year (Mode Men Award 2010), Sexiest Man In Nigeria 2008, Best African Actor (NET Awards).

The evil spirit that had tormented the life of Jim Iyke for so many years began to manifest, confessing that it was the cause of Iyke’s setback and disappointment. It confessed that it was the reason he could never marry, stating that it would not allow him to love anyone. It continued confessing that Iyke was the biggest and that it was only God’s grace that had kept him. As the evil spirit inside him struggled to attack the Wise Man, the supremacy of the Holy Spirit continued to overpower it.

The deliverance continued but the battle was not against flesh and blood; it was against the spiritual entities that had been causing crisis in his life, family, health, career and future.

To the jubilation of the congregation, the name of Jesus Christ prevailed over the evil spirit and Jim Iyke received his freedom. Overwhelmed with what had just happened, Iyke immediately knelt in God’s presence, appreciating His Creator for his miraculous deliverance.

The humility demonstrated by Jim Iyke in submitting himself to the power of God should prompt others in his industry to make the same life-saving choice.
Wishing him the best in his New life with God

Nigerian Ejiro Okurame Actress Exposed Lesbianism & Sexual Harrassment In Nollywood

Nigerian Ejiro Okurame Actress Exposed Lesbianism & Sexual Harrassment In Nollywood

In this latest interview, star actress Ejiro Okurame talked at length on her lesbianism experience in Nollywood and how many female movies stars are involved in what she called a demonic lifestyle.

Eji Okurame also narrates her encounter with a lesbian in Abuja among other issues;

Interview excerpt below;

Interviewer: Were you sexually harassed as an upcoming actress?

Ejiro Okurame: I didn’t set myself up to be sexually harassed. However, the issue of sexual harassment is in every organization not just Nollywood. It happens everywhere.

Interviewer: What is your view about lesbianism in the industry?

I think it is demonic. I won’t say much about it because a lot of people are involved. The industry needs divine intervention so God can erase such people from the industry. It has eaten deep and it is affecting us. That’s why we need to seek the presence of God. Lesbianism is a sign of the end of time.

Interviewer: Have you been a victim before?

Ejiro Okurame: No, not really. I think it is when you give room for these things that they occur. I was in Abuja for a particular event when a lady asked me to sit on her laps. I was like ‘what, sit on your laps! For what?’ I left and got my own chair.

Like Wizkid, Maheeda blasts Twitter fan

… Must you disgrace yourself, the fan asks

… You are another fool, Maheeda responds

Wizkid’s recent chiding of someone he believed criticized him wrongly on Twitter is still very fresh in people’s memories. People still recall very easily that one of their favourite musicians, the Star Boy himself, actually ‘arrogantly’ lashed a fan by calling him broke and poor and therefore not really qualified to set him on the right path.

There was no real backlash for Wiz however on his unsavoury comment. Even though some of his fans feel he shouldn’t have reacted by hitting below the belt, they still love him all the same. As a matter of fact, J. Martins, a senior colleague of his who waded into the issue and made uncomplimentary remarks about Wiz on it, was the one who lost face over it as he had to eat his words on it.

Reacting to Wiz’s reaction, he said it wasn’t right that a musician should lash out at his fans who buy his CDs as he is nothing without his fans so he shouldn’t feel too big because of the money he has made which he isn’t even guaranteed to still have a few years down the line.

Immediately, Wiz reacted to Martins comments, tweeting that he was disappointed in Martins and that he didn’t lash his fan but someone who erred. And just like Wizzy was very blunt in responding to a criticising fan on Twitter, Maheeda has also toed his pathand unceremoniously blasted a fan who dared to point out the supposed error of her way in always posting semi-nude pictures of herself. In his tweet through the Twitter handle, @crizgold, the fan tweeted at Maheeda that “it’s a sin when you expose your body.

Won’t you be sexy if you come out decent? Must you disgrace yourself ?” In her reply however, Maheeda didn’t mince words. “Another fool. And who made you judge?” Maheeda has come under severe criticism in recent times for posting nude pictures and erotic videos of herself online.

The criticisms are severe because she is believed to be a born again Christian now so she isn’t expected to do such. Maheeda is however of the stance that God blessed her with a sexy body and so she should flaunt it.

World fastest man"BOLT" thinks that GARETH is the fastest player and offers to train him

World-record holder in 100 metre and double Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt believes Gareth Bale is the fastest footballer in the world, but says he can make the Real Madrid winger even quicker.

Despite concerns over his fitness due to a lack of pre-season, the Wales star clocked an incredible 40kmh during Real Madrid’s draw with Villarreal in his debut. That is almost 25mph, just 2mph behind Bolt’s world-record speed.

And Bolt says he will teach Bale how to run even faster if the player and Real Madrid want me to.

The world’s fastest man added that he trained with Bale’s new team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in a session too, and is clearly willing to do the same for the former Tottenham man.

Bolt said: “It is not just about how fast you can accelerate – but also when you have the football at your feet about balance while you are sprinting as well. I helped Ronaldo with his sprinting in a training session – and look what he has go on to achieve since then.

“Bolt also said he has a lot of respect for Real Madrid – and if they and Gareth want my help I am happy to fly in and take a private training session with Gareth. I hear that he has been clocking speeds close to me – but it is about technique as well.

(plesea oh let Gareth not start flying on the pitch..

(Lol) REASONS why president good luck want ASUU strike 2 continue

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has been on strike since June 30 and has engaged in a series of dialogue with the Federal Government over 11 times, albeit, inconclusively. This underscores the lukewarm posture of government towards the striking lecturers and from ASUU’s body language and utterances, it has made it abundantly clear to anyone who cares to listen that it is ready to continue the strike even if it takes years, insisting that its decision was adequately taken in a bid to revitalise Nigerian universities.

The bone of contention is lucid in itself. An agreement was reached in 2009 that all federal universities would require a total sum of N1.5tn spread over three years (2009-2011) to address the rot and decay in the universities. But, in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the union and the government in 2012, the Federal Government decided to extend the gesture to include both federal and state universities. After the 2012 review, it was agreed that instead of N1.5tn, the Federal Government would infuse a total of N1.3tn into the universities over four years. Almost four years down the line, the government has refused to fulfill its end of the bargain. Rather than respond to the issues raised by ASUU that would ensure quick resolution to the imbroglio, government boycotted the union to summon a meeting with Pro-Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors of universities, offering them N130bn with a marching order to lecturers to resume work immediately. But the union is insisting that by throwing money at universities in that manner, government has repudiated the 2009 agreement it entered freely with the union and the 2012 MoU. ASUU is not making any fresh demand but has maintained that the 2009 agreement must be honoured.

It is ridiculous that government officials were quoted as saying ASUU’s N1.3tn demand is capable of shutting down the country. No. Their insatiable and rapacious greed will. The private jets in the presidential fleet can fly, centenary celebrations is a priority to government, there’s enough money to pay humongous salaries and allowances to federal legislators and other political office holders, enough to forfeit to oil subsidy thieves, enough to pay militants bogus amnesty cheques and phantom contracts while they continue to bunker our crude oil like never before, there’s enough money to beg Boko Haram to accept amnesty but there is no money for law abiding Nigerian students who want to eke out a living using university education as a stepping stone. It is this kind of attitude from the government that provokes the use of brute force by some regional groups to attract government’s attention to their problems.

Government cannot claim it has no money to fulfill this agreement. A country with 109 senators earning about N19.6bn a year, while N51.8bn is spent on members of House of Representatives for the same period, totalling N71.4bn. This sum, N71.4bn, represents 17.8 per cent of the N400bn yearly intervention fund recommended by the Committee on Needs Assessment of Nigerian Universities. Surely, our lecturers and universities where they were trained, deserve more.

That Mr. President has taken out time from his “busy” schedule to constantly parley with the warring factions of his party but has never sat down with ASUU members to chart a course for Nigeria’s leaders of tomorrow clearly shows his priorities. That indeed is the way of transformative leaders! Party affairs and chasing perceived enemies of his 2015 ambition around with apparatus of state are far more important things than bending over backwards to pander to the legitimate demands of the striking lecturers.

But then, the Jonathan government must bear in mind that, the longer the students remain at home, chances are that they will be lured into social vices. The aftermath can be disastrous for us all.

There are misplaced calls in the some quarters for ASUU to be “reasonable”, accept the Federal Government’s offer and return to the classrooms. Others lambast them for being self-centered and unpatriotic. It is unfortunate that Nigerians are always looking for quick fix solutions to monumental problems. Less endowed countries such as Ghana, Botswana and Angola are making giant strides on all fronts because the citizenry have at one point or the other insisted that the needful be done. Here, anything thrown at us is accepted with glee.

We must get our priorities right as a country. Government must curb its own excesses. Education must be given the attention it deserves. Education of the citizenry should not be subjected to any form of negotiation. Negotiating the education of our leaders of tomorrow is more or less negotiating the future of the country.

Government deliberately wants the strike to linger, first, to blackmail the opposition. There have been several unsavoury comments from the government’s divide of the negotiation table that ASUU has been infiltrated by moles from the opposition, alleging that the strike has lingered to gain political capital. That is how low this government can stoop. We have seen it before. It is an irresponsible government, one that lacks integrity and honesty that will blame the opposition for all its woes. It is unbecoming for the government of the day to continue to heap its failure on the doorstep of the opposition and ASUU strike is just another avenue to paint the opposition black before the public.

Second, is to send a strong signal to other unions who might be contemplating a similar action to have a rethink. Perhaps, government thinks by acceding to ASUU’s demands, other labour unions might toe the same path at the slightest excuse.

Third, the ultimate aim of government is to paint a bad image of the association to Nigerians, at least, for as long as the strike persists. The Governor Gabriel Suswan-led NEEDS Report Implementation Committee mediating on behalf of the government has unfortunately taken a position that is false, dishonest, and calculated to misinform the public and cause disaffection towards the union. Rather than seek cheap popularity, Suswan and the rest of the Federal Government team should toe the path of honour by asking President Jonathan to honour the 2009 agreement
(Lol) asuu is real ready 2 go on with the strike for a year oh

Chinese man has new nose grown on his forehead after losing his nose in a car crash

A 22 year old Chinese man named Xiaolian has had a new nose grown on his forehead after loosing his original nose in a car accident. Xiaolian had the treatment to create a replacement for his original nose which was infected and deformed following the accident in 2012. He actually left his damaged nose unattended to after the accident which led to the infection and eventual deformity, leaving the surgeons unable to repair it.

Surgeons in China were left with no option than to create another nose for the man to breathe properly and then transplant it to the original place. The nose was created by placing a skin tissue expander onto Xiaolian’s forehead. This was cut into the shape of a nose and was supported by cartilage taken from the man’s ribs. Continue...

Surgeons say that the nose has developed well and that the transplant surgery will be carried out soon

Police Officers Stationed at UNILAG Gate & Campus to Prevent Students Protest over ASUU Strike –See Photos!

Protesting is the one thing students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) won’t plan to do.

The Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) are still debating on the demands by university lecturers.

Yesterday, Sahara Reporters posted some images of police vans stationed at the University of Lagos gate as well as inside the campus.

According to news agency, UNILAG students began mobilizing through social media late last week, inviting other students to join in a protest that would likely take place at the gate of the institution.

If you recall, in May 2012 students of the institution were very vocal about the change of the school’s name to Moshood Abiola University. They took to the streets to protest against the decision by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Rihanna vs Teyana Taylor

Singer and actress Teyanna Taylor goes straight at Rihanna after Bad Gal RiRi tries to throw shade.. So what happened was, earlier yesterday Rihanna posted video on her instagram page of a guy in her entourage wearing a long weave and a snap back cap warbling his way through Anita Baker's 'Sweet Love.' This made Teyana Taylor think Rihanna and her entourage were mocking her because she posted an Instagram of herself singing the same song two weeks ago.

After seeing the instagram pic Teyana came after Rihanna on Twitter and Rihanna clapped back. Lol. But Teyana won this round. She told Rihanna and I quote "Ya net worth and ya body count go neck to neck. #IndustryPussy". Ouch! See their Tweets below

Finaly The terror at Kenyan mall is over

The 4-day siege at Westgate mall in Nairobi, Kenya is finally over. Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta addressed the nation a few hours ago, saying they have defeated the terrorists and arrested eleven of them. The president said three floors of the mall collapsed during clearing efforts and trapped some people. He said Kenyan forces killed 5 terrorists and are currently sweeping the mall for explosives.

Mr Kenyatta said 61 civilians and 6 soldiers were killed in the deadly mall slaughter that started on Saturday, and carried out by Al Qaeda linked militant group, Al Shabaab. Almost 200 people were injured while 65 people are still unaccounted for. The Kenyan president said he can't confirm the nationality of the terrorist. He also declared three days of mourning.

May the souls of the people we lost rest in peace...amen. May we never see this again.

"We're not against our father's new marriage' Iwuanyanwu's children say

A daughter to billionaire businessman Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has rubbished reports making the rounds that they are against their father's marriage to the 26 year old daughter of one his late wife's close friends. I was reliably informed that they kicked against it initially but backed down after their father threatened to deal with anyone who gave him headache over his intentions to marry a much younger woman - but the children say it's not true, so let's believe them.

His daughter, Mrs Nwadiuto Iheakanwa, the MD of Champion newspaper told Encomium magazine:

"We are not against our father's new marriage. It's not true that we the children kicked against it. He made his choice and we wish him well in his new marriage. Papa is an old man (don't let his new wife hear that o..lol) we should not give him stress. We want our father to have a long life and enjoy himself. The lady herself consented to it. We spoke to her and she said she loves papa. We wish them goodluck."

Chief Iwuanyanwu and his late wife, Lady Eudora, who died in August 2011, were married for 40 years and had eight children, most of whom are older than the woman he married this past weekend.
