In loving memory of his late father, mother and brother, the Nigerian music star has tattooed their names on his chest.
Iyanya lost his immediate family in 2 years. His father died when he was about entering the MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 1 show, shortly after he lost his brother and mother.
“Tattoo of my Late Dad !! Late Mum and Late Brother who all died in just a short time between 2008- 2010 RIP” he captioned the image.
Tattoos have been around for decades and were once used as a status symbol. For some, tattoos were practiced to inform people of the person's capabilities and experiences, a way of telling story without the need for words. Nowadays, the motivation for acquiring a tattoo is basically the same - only better.
